About

Tim Reis

In his lifetime, Tim Reis has been a waiter, school teacher, musician, box boy, sales clerk, elevator operator, entrepreneur and custodian – though not in that order.

For the past twenty years, Tim has sold advertising for magazines including Maxim, Forbes, Fortune, Town & Country, Success, Country Living, American Heritage, American Legacy and others.  After ten years in the consumer magazine business, he founded an independent advertising sales rep firm in Atlanta.  After nearly a decade at the helm of this successful business, Tim sold the firm, accepting a post as vice president of sales development for Forbes magazine and was promoted to president of Forbes Custom Media two years later where he turned an unprofitable business profitable.

Outside of work, his interests are broad.  He has worked as a professional singer/songwriter performing in such storied venues as the Bluebird Café in Nashville.  Tim also holds blackbelts in aikido and karate, has studied t’ai chi, is a scuba diver and went skydiving just once (that was enough).

Tim lives in Connecticut with his wife of seventeen years, his two children and a big black dog.
